Words can lie - so can pictures.
Words can speak volumes - so can pictures
Words can convey emotion - so can pictures
Words can elevate - so can pictures
Words can depress - so can pictures
Words can bring joy - so can pictures
Words can depress - so can pictures
It really depends on how each is used and the purpose for which it is used.
They are equal - except here. No picture can convey what I just wrote. Why? Because pictures can't be used here.

Some people say a picture is.
I think it depends on what the 1000 wowds say.
The words could really mean a lot .
It depends on how they are spoken and who spoke them.

Depends on what the picture is of- when I look at a picture of my grandmother, who passed on New Year's day 2004, a thousand words could not describe the love I had for her, and what she meant to me.

If the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words" is true ... then I'd have to say they are equal.

I'm an artist and I'm a writer - but I know I can say more with words than a picture.
