I recently stopped taking the birth control pill Sept. 10. I got my period the 12th and ended the 15th. 2 weeks later around the 30th my husband and I ttc when I saw that I had egg white looking cervial fluid.
For about a week after that I had what felt like ovulation cramps. now my question is.. Is it possible that I really ovulated 2 weeks after stopping the pill, and how long will it take to get my period again? I'm already 4 days late and I was very regular before going on the pill a year ago. what are your experiences with coming off the pill. and when would a pregnancy test be accurate? thanks, any input would help

would a pregnancy test really be accurate only 4 days after I was supposed to get my period?

I would take a test. You can definitely get pregnant soon after stopping the pill (you can get pregnant by missing just one pill)
And I would say that a test would probably be accurate now if you're a month late. Hope this helps!

Yes, it is possible that you ovulated 2 weeks after stopping the pill. I went off it after 10+ years and my period still came like clockwork. At 4 days late you should get a positive on a pregnancy test if you are pregnant. Or, in the other direction, going off the pill could have your system out of whack. Many years ago I went off the pill for a while. I didn't have a period for 6 months, until I went back on the pill. So, you never really know. Just buy a test, preferably a good one, and see.

Good luck-most people aren't that lucky at getting pregnant that quick, if you are.

Take a test it should be pretty accurate even though you just got off the pill.

Just take a test there not expensive...well they can be if you buy one every month like i do...lol but if you buy them in packs...its not that expensive....its proably just your side effects of the birthcontrol...b ut a test would defietnly clarify that for you...goodluck!!
