Do a charity event. Get the whole team to contribute manpower to a charity and get sponsors. You'll be helping the needy and helping the team. Donate anything over $500.00 that you earn.

Your boys should hold a bake sale of sliced cake, cupcakes, and cookies (fudge is too expensive) -- MOMMY's LOVE TO HELP. Price each piece at .75 - be prepared to sell out.
The boys should plan to sell their goods on Saturday in front of the local grocery store, with permission of the owner, for a 2 hour block of time - like between 9am and 11 am. Blitz!
Oh...on the same table with the goodies have containers colorfully labeled "donations welcome" for those who will drop their change and not ask for anything in return.

Little Caesars has these school fundraiser things where you can sell pizza kits. Also, I don't know if there is Hungry Howies where you live, but they have a fundraiser where you can sell vouchers for pizzas - like 3 for 20 dollars.
There is of course the old standby, like selling M&M's. It might be too late to hold something like a car wash.

Multiple things that everyone can be involved in. Such things as what people have already said:
Selling candy, bake sale, raffle.
But other things are also done by having parties and having people pay an entrance fee. Also as someone mentioned, charitable work and they get anything over $500.

Get stores to donate items and have sealed bid auction at one of your matches or at your school. Who ever gets the highest bid gets the item. We just did this at a fire department fund raiser and raised $2038.

ummmm.... Do a raffle. there is a lot of big stores that wil for sure give you so gift cards or expensive items if they know it is for your school. Make sure you get the word out though!

you can do some wrestling obviously fake but before you begin do some cheering, get some girls for cheerleader. they help you if they know some gymnastics.

our wrestling program does a big salmon feed every year and is very succsessful.... maybe something along those lines
