I feel for you. I wasn't married, but it was a serious relationship with rings and all. There is no reason for them to do it other than the fact that they are a dog! Don't blame yourself, nothing you did was wrong. The only thing you can do is realize that you are a good person and what happend never should have been done. As for them acting like you dont exsist... it is the massive guilt they have on them for hurting you. Be glad they don't bother you anymore and move on. Get back at them by living a fufilling, successful, happy life free of guilt!! and whatever you do don't feel sorry for them if they die alone ... they did it to them self!!!

Better question is, "why would you care whether or not they act like a child?" Sounds as if you dumbed a looser to begin with. Surely you don't want to be friends with a person like this. Leave it at that...count yourself lucky. Ignore him in the future, even if he says 'Hi,' good luck

If the truth is known you didn't exist when you were married to him,because he cheated,let go you deserve better than him,don't worry about being exist to him,he will get his because what gos around comes around.

Some people are cruel and have no conscience and they don't feel they are doing anything wrong. Move on from the cheater and be thankful you didn't waste even more time with him.

Embarassment. Especially if you found out and your family and friends know. It makes him feel better to ignore you. Sounds like he wasn't worth your time in the first place.

I think it proves that they do not want any association with you, they have moved on with their life and probably are uncomfortable being around you. Yes, it is childish and they are caring around a lot of animosity.
