because most movies are retarded and purely for entertainment not for the art aspect of it
plus a lot of ppl are stupid so they wouldn't be able to find movies if they were listed somewhere else

Movies, in my opinion, are both Arts and Entertainment but sadly you can only have one way or the other.

Possibly because precious few films (that make it into a theater near you...or me) these days are made as real artistic endeavors. Most movies are aimed at the greatest masses to make the biggest bucks. I guess "that's entertainment"!

because most movies Q's are for the people who watch them, not the people who make them. while film is a artistic medium, it entertains more people. Art is initially thought to be paintings and such.
