First off, good luck. I am kind of in the same boat as you, because I'm taking the PSAT, except next week. One of the things that has helped me most has been taking the practice tests. I found one online that really helped me understand some of the concepts better for that test, so maybe this could help you. The link below is the one for the online Practice Test for the SAT. I would just go through it real quick, especially the parts you aren't as comfortable with. After that, just make sure you get a good night's sleep. Go to be early, and wake up early. I know this might sound crazy, but waking up early really does help. As you've heard before, make sure you eat a good breakfast. I suggest something like scrambled eggs and sausage with juice. Avoid artificial energy, such as caffeine as that could end up making you more tired or more easily distracted. It may seem comforting, but avoid bringing really fatty/sugary snacks with you to eat. This will have the same effect as caffeine. Bring something healthy, like strawberries, granola bars, or even chocolate. Chocolate actually stimulates the mind and makes you feel refreshed, the darker the better. And finally, just make sure to calm yourself down. Do whatever you have to do to get rid of your stress so that you can do your best on the test. Once again, I wish you the best of luck and I hope you do really well!

Relax. You probably feel a lot of pressure to do well on this test, but honestly, it doesn't matter at all. If you asked us this on Yahoo! Answers you're already concerned enough to do well.

By the way, DON'T feel pressured to go to the most "prestigious" college, because I felt a lot of pressure to go to stanford/berkely, but really I feel like I'm a lot happier at SJSU. The most "prestigious" colleges aren't always the best to go to. Any college you go to will have the same material, the only difference will be who is teaching it. Noone in the real world really cares what college you went to, there are so many colleges that no one employer learns them all, they just want to see your grades. And if you go to a "prestigious" college, its more competitive, and you might find a harder time getting good grades.

ANYWAY, on to advice, just relax. Don't study too much the day before, you don't want to oversaturate your memory. Also, eat a good brekfast.

Good luck.

eat a hamburger for brain food before the test. Lots of no. 2 pencils!! Get sleep and don't stress, you can always take it again. The more often you take it, the better you get! Next time try some of those prep books...you might find some at the library or books store! Don't stress, it's a combination of your GPA, your scores, your Extra curricular activities, and your essay that get you into a University. Keep those grades up and you can get into a nice four year university.

Don't cram tonight. Don't fill your head up with extraneous stuff. Bring cheese, jerky, nuts -- protein to keep your strength up; a regular lunch, and lots of water. Hydration and strength will get you through ... and a comfy pair of shoes and sweats 'cause you will be sitting for a long, long while.

Do your best by just focusing on tomorrow and not the impact of your SATs -- the prize is in front of you.

Good luck.

1.Don't cram. Doesn't help.
2.Sleep early.
3.Eat a good breakfast.
4.Take your time.
5. If you see a question that you can't do, don't panic. Give it a minute. If you can't do it, skip it and go back to it later.
6.In the reading section, go directly to the questions and answer them. Skim the passage, do not read the whole thing.
7.Carry a fruit to eat. A banana or apple would be good.

Good luck.
