The fear factor obviously hasn't got to you Cons yet, but aren't you afraid that the Constitution that you take for granted is not worth more than toilet wipe under this administration?

Many aren't paying attention to what is going on... and those that are... say "it would never happen to us... we're special"...

they think it's needed to trade security for freedoms, especially if it's not their freedoms...

but, when you take one freedom... often times... others have a way of disappearing later... I don't like that, and that does make me afraid...

Forget the Constitution

That piece of paper was replaced by the patriot Act.

I love the patriot Act it was overwhelming voted in even before it's 14,000 pages were written.

The Constitution is only a few pages long (depending on font size) The Bush Act has it beat 7000 to 1 in volume.

Bush is not only the Decider but he is the Verboser.

And still out killing Saddam 3,1/2 to 1

Perhaps it isn't to you, Humanist, but it is to me; and, I'm not afraid. Why should I be? Because someone wants to put a label on me like some sort of nazi guard, so they can make a spectacle of me, and others like me? I find that detestable, and further reason to throw down the oppression of political correctness. Why don't you throw it down, too, and join me in being just an American? It's liberating to only be an American. Not a Yankee (true Southerners do not accept such terms), not a cowboy, or an anything else. Just an American.

Some neocons took the constition and threw it in the trash.

It's sad how ever so slowly our rights and freedoms are going away in the name of security.

As an American, I am not afraid. We still have a lot more freedom than most other countries. I recently saw "Hotel Rwanda!' OMG!!!

I count my blessings!
