I enjoyed the both the De Vinci Code both in book form and in the movie theater, but Angels And Demons did far better as a book, My question is why didn't they make a movie out of Angels And Demons?

If you're talking about top grossing movie then it will be Pirates of the Caribbeans 2.

Oscar that I personally don't know.

It's hard to say since its only October but some of the nominee's might be the departed, Da Vinci Code, The Illusionist, and HollyWood Land.

Some others that haven't come out yet might be Infamous, and maybe the Prestiage.

The Illusionist, starring Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti.

If you haven't seen it check it out. It's a suspenseful drama, with forbidden love, murder, and revenge. The acting is also great. Giamatti and Norton turn in probably the best performances I've ever seen them in, and cemented themselves as a couple of my favorite actors!

Probably one that no-one has yet seen, as studios keep their Oscar contenders close to their chests until the Xmas market -- or one that hardly anyone will get to see, as it will be a film that has played at festivals but not found a distributor. What are your criteria for bestness?

I haven't seen to many, after Brokeback Mountain, it is anyones guess. I rarely agree with the Oscars idea of a best movie anyway.
