You only worry about the future if you haven't accomplished what you should have already done. Time runs out and you can't stop it. The future has no road map, only the past, to tell you how you got here.

It is something indefinite. We do not have the details. As humanity, we are usually and naturally curious. We want to know everything just be satiated. We were also taught that we determine our future even with a set destiny. It takes too long to achieve the future. Even with what God has told us, we still worry because we think our efforts would change our future. The future like anything unknown is mysterious, so that is why people talk about things most when you do not know. With the news reports, the future is even more exciting, because you just do not know when this could happen to you or if it is even apart of your destiny. Just like Job in the Bible, every thing he feared, He talked about and worried and it all happened. it can work positively and negatively. I like Sid the Sloth in Ice Age am too lazy to worry about the future. Too many organizations use that against you and you wind up penniless to say the least. We love knowing and when we do not know, we worry.

We just want to plan for a good future for ourselves and the ones we care about. I suppose now that you mention it, we should be worrying about what is going on now, because it can shape our future-you're right. If we worry about the present and the future-it will all work out!

Same reason.... People tend to "OVER INSURE" their health , life, etc, spending hard earned savings, paying a very heavy unrealistic premium (cheerfully exploited by insurers... good business !), instead of investing the same funds prudently, and with ofcourse a time-bound minimal risk , they could have ended up with lot more of funds right within their reach, instead of waiting for 'reluctant-litigated-insurance-claims' !
The sense of security is an instinct that easily overpowers the logic.... If a person has atleast a reasonable control on the negative emotion called 'fear', then life would happen more sensibly !

People have a powerful mental tool that enables them to plan ahead. This if used correctly is a great help to us. However, after the first couple of times you have planned for an upcoming situation it stops being planning and becomes worry. This is the point that you need to stop and return to living in the present. Many of us (myself included) let this tool take over our lives if we are not careful.

The bad thing is when we become too obsessed with the future,we forget to let things flow and before we realise it,things don't go according to our original plan and what we wanted to do because we're too busy thinking abou things that have not even happened. This will make us feel more and more regretful each day and it can build up to frustration.so don't be afraid to take risks but just know when to stop, planning our future and writing it on paper is fine it takes patience, strength and courage to finally get there.

We worry because we do not want it to come around and bite us on the tailfeathers. There are too many variables to properly prepare for the element of surprise, let alone of ambush. We all waste such previous energies worrying. Worrying is an interesting word. Its original meaning comes from what a dog does to a bone. The dog chews it over and over. He worries the bone. When we worry, we chew it over and over with equally futile results. Worry accomplishes nothing except more worry, but we all do it. Thank you for posting this excellent question.

..well until i clicked on your question and saw the rest of it i knew the answer.

i think for the most part i do take actions to shape my future...and i know which actions to take based off of the worrying i do. ..and half of the reason i worry so much about the future is because i am running from the past. ....i think thats how it works for me anyway.

In order to face the difficulties which may come in future we have to prepare in the present. It is not worrying it is desire to know and protect which is basic instinct of human being.
We prepare the child in the present so that he can have a better future

Perhaps fear is a sign of wisdom? If we would not worry about the future we would not work as hard as we can at reaching our goals. Fear can be a good thing. Just don’t let fear keep you from achieving you potential. Believe that success is possible through hard work.
