We are about to take the dog for a walk. Is anyone else in the same situation.
Does the amount of beer dictate what you do?

Our friends from Dublin are coming over tomorrow for a few days so we will be out drinking with them tomorrow night, I don't drink really, usually high days and holidays, I might have a glass of wine tomorrow, its my hubby I worry about, he will be quaffing the red wine, end up legless, when we get home our dog will want to go out, I will have to keep propping my hubby up and trying to stop the dog barking at me because she thinks I'm some husband basher, boy just can't wait, hope you had a great night and your dog liked his walk with his squiffy mom and dad.

I had a couple of beers because I'd been working hard stripping wallpaper, but I was (and am) home alone. I am not going to take my dog out now because it is too dark and he is old and falls over easily. Instead he is having a nap on the sofa.
Personally the amount of beer doesn't really dictate what I do but if I had a lot it might, eg I would not go for a drive in the car or attempt to study, or do anything up a ladder.

I am drinking a beer, but I don't think I want to take the dog for a walk. I might cut off all my hair in a little while. What do you mean, 'does the amount of beer dictate what you do?'? I usually cut off all my hair before I start drinking. It looks better that way.

Sounds like a nice, peaceful evening. Some people let alcohol dictate what they do. What they do turns out to be really dumb! You sound like you're doing you're thing in a responsible manner. Hanging with friends, having a few drinks, and going for a stroll. That's cool. Have a good evening!
