I heard it on radio this year. It is a song about school life. It is part rap. The chorus is a bunch of kids singing about school. The chorus sounds like it is sampled from an old song.

I don't think it is Hard Knock Life...
The song didn't sound so violent..
After all, I remember some bits of it were about reminising school life/you better enjoy school life...
And a bunch of kids sang the chorus..

Probably a silly question, but are you talking about the "Hard Knocks Life" song that is from the musical Annie?
Sorry, really thought that was your song. Kids are singing in the chorus. Don't have a clue if that's not it.

yes this is a remake of the song from Annie (with a twist) by Jay-Z, and though I don't like rap usually, I like that song.
