even though they have been through therapy and meds and are recovered for two years 3 small kids involved here one of the parents uses the others former mental problems as a means to gain an advantage thru angering the other

it is possible. because they will still consider that parent to be on shaky ground. if it is you that has the problem , show her first that you are now in full control and just don't let the other get the better of you. just tell them , you don't let the small issue's in life upset you anymore. don't shoe any anger whatsoever. good luck in this , i wish you the best!

Probably, BUT, bring in the therapist's recommendation/report that shows your recovery.
