Both are different softwares so to speak so if you want to log-in to both at the same time then you can, no conflict whatsoever. Remember that you have different log-ins for both so it is perfectly fine. It'll be fun so enjoy!

May depend on which program you set up first, I can't get Yahoo Messenger to work with Windows Messenger. Probably have too much .NET software running for it.

No sir Matter in fact if you download the new yahoo messenger it has so u can add friends from windows live messenger to ur yahoo messenger.Peace

Unless you try to open the same account on both, all should be fine.

I say that because there is a new functionality that has been installed recently so that Msn users could interact with Yahoo users.

totally different sysems. just as you can download with bitcomet whilst talking to your wife on her mobile via skype.
there are some free programs out there that will do yahoo and msn messenger all in one plus a few more.
