I was in a weird cycle with my period. I had it, then it stopped for like a day or two. Then it started again but it was a kinda light period. My boyfriend and I had sex for the first time (unprotected, mind you). I thought you couldn't get pregnant while I was on my period, but to my surprise (and worry), you apparently can, although the chance of it is highly unlikely (so I've read). He had already came two times before within about two hours. I still have a sort of light period. Just a little bit. Not heavy at all. Does that mean I'm not pregnant?

And is it true that if the male came a couple of times before, then the time he comes inside of you, wouldn't be more "potent", I shall say?

Thanks in advance. I'd really appreciate it if you answered. And quickly. I'm quite worried.

If it helps, this happened about three days ago

Okay, for the record, I know that you can get pregnant the first time you have sex. I was just trying to be as detailed as possible.

I'm more concerned about the whole period thing.

And I've already bought E.P.T. and am well aware that you have to wait 'til your next cycle but I'm concerned now and just wanted to know your opinion.

And for future reference, one that has sex for the first time unprotected does not make them stupid. It makes them not very smart about the situation at all, but certainly not stupid. I was valedictorian of my class of 336 students.

And I do admit I acted quite unintelligently in the situation and I've learned from that. No sex without condoms.

You know, I don't have to read what you listed to answer your question.

Answer:

Get a pregancy test (check the box, b/c different tests allow earlier detection) or hit up planned parenthood/your doctor to find out.

Are they not teaching Sex Ed. in school anymore?
Crap I think I knew more about sex from the videos in 3rd grade than what they must be teaching now.

You know enough about when you can/cannot get pregnant during your cycle, that's clear. You're right, there's a very small risk of becoming pregnant during your period, but it's highly unlikely. Often when you get pregnant, you still have a light period at the start, it's not uncommon.

On the other hand, like someone else said, the latter part of your period is often lighter than the start, and when you have sex, especially when girls have sex for the first time, your first period after that is unusual.

The first period after sex for the first time might be late, early, heavier, lighter, etc. If you were having your period the first time you had sex, or if your period just ended, it can suddenly come back and you might bleed for a few extra days. Also remember that many women bleed a little the first time they have sex, and soemtimes for a few days after they have sex, so it might not even be your period if the sex happened only a few days ago.

If you're very worried, take a pregnancy test. They have tests now where you won't have to wait to your next cycle, they're very fast. I'd say you don't have much to worry about though, it's normal for that first period to be different after sex!

From your description, you are probably pregnant. Having said that, it's time for you two to start planning a wedding. Maybe you should drive your boyfriend to the courthouse and get a marriage license then either plan your wedding or just go to a justice of the peace and get a marriage certificate. This isn't for you two, this is for the innocent child that is growing inside you. Now, don't delay, and don't use any excuses to postpone the marriage until after the child is born because we all know what that makes your lovely innocent child. By the way, this applies even if you are not pregnant except using some form of protection may give you two a little more time to play house.

First of all, you can definitely get pregnant the first time you have sex. However, it is very unlikely you got pregnant if you had sex during your period. You are most fertile approximately 14 days after the first day of your period (this, of course, varies from person to person).

I'd wait on a pregnancy test. A test won't be able to tell you if you're pregnant until the end of your cycle, before you start your period. If your next period is late, definitely get a pregnancy test or see your doctor.

Until then, try not to panic, and start protecting yourself.

Um... No. the baby hasn't long previous through puberty and had her era (basically women can get pregnant) and don't hear to the guy who pronounced positioned on 2 condoms, that reasons friction which will lead them to ruin. Having intercourse while you're pregnant is high-quality, it would not quite result the baby in any respect because of fact no remember how super a penis is, it won't attain the uterus (the place the baby is is).

Well don't panic! Calm down and relax. I took a pregnancy test early after intercourse and got significant results. However just stay calm talk to your significant other about it and if he's no help then dump him.You know better for next time. Oh and I understand your not dumb. I was in the same situation before I had a 4.0 G.P.A in high school. and I scored a 1250 on the SAT's (the old SAT's) and I graduated #1 and I went to very good University. I'm having my first baby now and I'm 21. I plan on finishing school and going for my doctorate and my now fiancee is behind me 100% so don't get discouraged. I'm living proof that even the geeks make mistakes in life. Much luck & love.

Depending on how old you are and how long ago you got your period that can be normal. Your period normally is heavy then lighter so that can be totally normal. Your period wouldn't stop on a dime if you were pregnant you can tell if you missed your next period. But before then you can take a pregnancy test in a few days to a couple of weeks. Good luck and please start using protection. Also please get a STD check done by a doctor just to be sure.

Yep, if sperm gets in there, you can become pregnant, whether it is your first time or not. I would go invest in a pregnancy test here in a few weeks. Why didn't you use protection? BTW, I got pregnant on the first day of my period, it is unlikely (like you said) but it happens. Go get some birth control and good luck!

OK .. can I say EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTIVE?

IF it has been within 5 DAYS of the unprotected sex, you can take 50 bucks... and go to planned parent hood and get the EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTIVE, take it and you should be ok. It will prevent the egg from implanting if there is one there to plant.
BUT IS HAS TO BE DONE WITHIN THE FIRST 5 DAYS OF HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX.

Not to be offensive, but it seems like most book smart ppl are never street smart.

So stop reading this, use that brain to get 50 bucks and get that pill before the 5 days are up

Yes you can be pregnant. Sperm can live for quite a while in the vaginal area. You'll need to take a home test in a few weeks, even if you start your period. Pregnant women can spot early on in the pregnancy.

Please use a condom every time you have sex, even if it's not in your fertile time or you could be facing an unwanted pregnancy.

Good luck. Feel free to send me a note if you'd like to talk more.

Yes you can get pregnant on the first time. I have seen it happen and you can get pregnant without a full insertion. A young girl was actually still a virgin and never busted the Hyman. Yet she was pregnant.Get a pregnancy test. The nonsense about male sperm getting weaker is immaterial. It only takes one sperm to do the job.
