I found out yesterday I'm pregnant, and had a tubal two years ago. I have to wait until Monday to get an ultrasound done, but I'm concerned about the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy. I've started to feel kind of crampy, but not painful, just uncomfortable. Any tips?

I went through the same thing. I had my left tube and ovary removed because I had an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured. Horrible pain!! After I had the ectopic pregnancy it took me about a year to get pregnant again. I carried her to full term with no problems at all (thank God) and now I have a 2 year old beautiful little girl!!! I was so paranoid when I found out I was pregnant with her that it would happen again. Usually with a previous ectopic pregnany there was something wrong with one of your fallopian tubes that the baby got stuck it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with the other one. I don't know if you are religious or not but if you are just pray about it like I did. Also try not to think about it and relax and just tell yourself that everything will be fine. When you go in there for the ultrasound I'm sure you will be happy with the results. I personally think that an ectopic pregnancy (if that is why you had the tubal 2 years ago) is a once in a lifetime thing for most people. I will be praying for you!! Hope this helped a little!! Good Luck and God Bless. Keep us posted. If you want to talk more about it you can email me at erinfitz831@yahoo.com. My tubal was horrible!!!

I had my tubes tied, too, and I was told that I couldn't get pregnant the usual way, but if I ever went with IVF, I would have a normal pregnancy. Only the tubes are damaged, not the womb, so you shouldn't have any problems.

i think u'll b able to carry this one as long as it's not a tubal again. just because u had one doesn't increase ur risk for another one. u should b able to carry full term. congrats
