I've always wondered why people go TO a clairvoyant. Shouldn't the clairvoyant come to you? I mean, if they know you have a problem, they know who you are, and they know if you will pay them for the information, then they should be knocking on MY door.

Most people who have these skills, or like to think they do...
Aren't materialistic. Therefore they have no desire to win the lottery in the first place.
Sometimes when people try to do certain things it creates mental blocks.
Like the negativity and pressure when a spiritualist person is on tv or something trying to prove their "powers" is enough to cause them to fail.
A LOT of them are fakers. For sure. But I believe some are real.
It's all about energy. Energy that you can't see, so you can't prove that obivously.
But the person needs energy to work and they can be affected by subtle things like a camera recording them and negative thoughts/presence.
Deep down they believe in themselves, and that is enough, usually inside they don't feel like they need to prove anything and that's probably why it never works. Probably not the answer you were looking for. It sounds like an excuse but if you understand the whole "energy" thing then it all makes perfect (and logical) sense.
Please also keep in mind that these people aren't miracle workers and they are trying to figure out stuff which is practically impossible to predict due to how the world is. It's not as simple as knowing everything, most of the time these people have spontaneous visions come to them. Or have to work hard and focus on something to figure out parts, not all, parts. This drains them because they are using energy or getting negative energy.

I thought clairvoyants, physics etc are full of it and still do but, one told me this thing what stuck in my head and it happened. She said this guy is going to give me something in the street, a very valuable piece of paper and i mustn't throw it away and look at it? I thought she is really pulling at straws now and she didn't know why i would be given it in the street?
Anyway a good few weeks past and one day a neighbour who i always see passing and say hello to but never allow in my house or have conversations with because he's a bit weird knocked my door' asked to come in and i said no. He gave me a piece of paper said its for me, good luck etc and walked away. Scared to open it, i did and it was a winning tickets on a horse! Couldn't believe what strange crazy stuff was that! Got the winnings and bought something really really nice! That's true as the sun rose this morning but what the psychic forgot to mention was i have a stalker!!!

Generally people who are psychic don't get premonitions for personal gain, like winning the lottery. Also many people who claim to be clairvoyants are fakes.

Hee! Good question. It reminds me of a funny story. I live on the coast and there was a chance we would get hit by a hurricane a few years ago. It turned away overnight, but not before we all noticed that the only person who had boarded up her windows was the local fortune teller!

its all got to do with probability. a genuine clairvoyant deals with whats going to happen not with random numbers that might happen. If they knew the numbers they'd have to personally cause the effect. that's being a magician not a clairvoyant. I wonder what's next??

Seems that way.
No matter what they tell you, your mind will recall a name or event that you will find is relevant to whatever they have told you.
Lets face it, we all know a Bill or a David from somewhere in our past, just as we have all known someone who has died, etc.
Never been convinced by any of it.
