yes, he does have a part in the song, but there are multiple singers in a particular version of that song. if you watch the video, you will see the various artists sing different sections of the song -- it was really popular around september 11th when a lot of muscians gathered together to support america and all that jazz...look for the video and check out the various artists throughout the song
