Have you ever thought that maybe these people are not looking at you differently at all but you just think they are....Look you like and love the people of your choice .It is not a bad thing thing that you like women of color...you do not have to be and do what most in "society" think is appropriate...do what is appropriate for you and in the end you will get more respect ...maybe you are ashamed of your one race also ...there can be many factors that play into this...But I personally think you are on the right track ...you do not need everyone else in the relationship anyhow just you and her...GOOD LUCK

Have you ever seen a little white girl married to a Korean guy? You want to talk about double takes.... everyone I ever meet imagines that I'm married to some skinny tall guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, and the reality couldn't be further from the truth. I've had coworkers so dumbfounded when they meet my husband that they try to compare him to Jet Li or Chow Yun Phat, and I'm not talking about white coworkers, just everyone in general.
Good thing you know and I know that love is blind and eventually, all those looks you think you see will disappear because you don't care. The problem you have right now is that you are noticing, and by that, I mean you are looking for it, you're looking for white girls to react to you. Figure out why and then move on to what matters.

Maybe they weren't raised around other black people... Or maybe those are the clubs that fit their personality... maybe that's the girl they really like how do u figure that their dating them just because she's a white girl maybe they actually held a conversation and realized they had something in common... And what should we call it when a white guy does the same thing should they be called a Token... because trust me their plenty of white people doing the same exact thing... So please be serious... Ignorance and stupidity like this should be a thing of the past be clearly its not

This is strange, I wonder where you live. Are from kentucky, texas?
I think the color of your girlfriend doesn't mather in an idealistic, normal world but if you go out with black girl just to be cool or because you love hippop music and want to be just like the other "brothas" then there is something wrong.
You should choose a woman for her personality, intelligence not for her skin color.

you have to be somewhere in the south. i'm in an interracial marriage (i'm white, he's black) and we get those looks all the time. plus i'm from one of the most racist states ever (ms). to answer your question, yes it probably does bother some white girls b/c they are wondering what you see in someone of the opposite race. that sh*t will happen for as long as you live and continue to date outside your race b/c racism will always be around.

Only women who are not secure with themselves. I say live and let live, date who you like. We live in a free country and we have a vast majority of different races and cultures to choose from. So if you like it I love it. Do not allow some ignorant bigot to bother you. God bless

I'm 100% white and it doesn't bother me at all. If you are happy and she is also, don't let it bother you. They are probably jealous and would like to get their hands on you.

i think it bothers people alot more than they will admit. i personally wouldn't know - i'm not white, well, only half - but from my experience with dating, most people are put off by interracial couples. it's sad that in 2006 people have such sad views.
