Check with "Camping World"! They have all sorts of ways to quiet your generator.
I've seen an exhaust pipe extension that slips over the regular exhaust pipe, then is curved 90d., and is run up over the roof line, which tends to put the noise above where people are walking or sitting. A couple brackets are needed to clamp it in place. Seemed to be quieter, the one i saw at a campground!
