I have a window that is very drafty. Cold air always comes through it. I have sealed the cracks but the cold keeps on coming in. Is there a simple way I can keep more of the heat in the room?

I guess a worst case scenario would be to use duct tape. Hope you're renting.

If lighting is need through the window purchase a cheap clear piece of plastic( like a Heavy paint cloth) at your local hardware store and cut it to fit the window. Tape it along the window trim it will act as a insulation barrier

Make some draft dodgers. Use old socks and fill them with beans and styrofoam balls tie the ends with string or sew it and put them in front of the windows and then cover the window with plastic. After that get some thick , rubber-like backed drapes. Stay Warm.

Go to your local hardware store and get a kit for just that. Also get curtains with insulated backing on them. That will solve the problem.

I hate my own answer but try plastic sheeting. Duct tape works but its not good for drywall or paint. Then again-drafts suck too so the plastic sheeting is a good thing on your HEATING BILL. Try to get heavier gage sheeting-not cheap thin stuff.
