Winning the war to overcome shyness and build confidence takes practice, but is definitely well worth the effort as the result is increasing confidence and self esteem. Wake up feeling good about yourself, able to face the world with confidence and security and the knowing that no feeling of shyness can come in your way of achieving your desires.
Every morning, as soon as you get up, get in front of a mirror and say out loud "I feel terrific!
Look your best and dress up every day.
Activities that make you feel excited and good about yourself.

Mandy that's not you is it? Get good at something you have a passion for and then you will get confidence. Confidence is a reflection of value. If you feel you are not valuable then you lack confidence. Money is an example. Money is worthless without confidence. If no one had confidence in the Dollar it would be as worthless as a Peso.

We gain confidence by knowing that if we fail we will be OK. Try things out in a safe environment first. Reassure yourself that if what ever doesn't work that you will still be just fine. Practice, practice, practice. Good luck! :)

Don't believe people who are naturally mean or just out to get you. I used to do that and it killed me on the inside for the longest time, the scary thing is that this person still lives nearby...

The bible says, "Act as if you have faith and it will be given to you." You get self confidence the same way. Act like you have it. Do things and do not listen to the people that put you down. Especially if they are supposed to be your friends. Friends do not put you down all the time.

do you really want my honest opinion..
the way you look..just look n the mirror and it should solve all your problems
by the way..you should sell your picture to depressed people to bring them out of their depression.
your smile ..your look would make anyone smile and be happy.
your face is a face of a very intelligent female..and NO you can not tell me different..I know faces..and your a smart girl....
so keep smiling
get some new friends who keep telling you that your the greatest..
good luck
