Just want to say although my parents have been doing this for the past 10 years, they have the closest relationship ever and also I am no in any way interested in copying their lifestyle as I am in a very happy marriage! Thank you : )

I was not going to give an answer on this, but I changed my mind.
I know that my parents fooled around on each other, but I did not support them 100%, but I look back and I guess I understand why they did it, even though it was wrong.
I cannot talk, because I am not a saint myself.
To answer your first part, what do I think about swinging. I do not personally see anything wrong with it as long as both partners agree. Now this is my answer, and I know that you are going to get more answers that disagree with mine. You will have to be the person that guesses who is giving you a HONEST answer.

I think its great, erm no hang on, if my parents were doing it noooooooooooooooooooo! But then hang, on if I had kids would I then have to think it was uuuuuuuurgh, I'm at a crossroads, and now I got a nasty picture in my head of my folks swinging which is going to take hours to go away!
How bout - fine until you have kids.
I could live with that.

I am against it. I am perfectly for single people having casual sex if they want to, but if two people commit to a permanent monogamous relationship they should not want sex outside it.
As my parents have a marriage of convenience I would not really mind if one of them was having extramarital sex as much as if they actually still loved each other fully.

To each their own. Personally, I am not sure how a relationship survives in a swinging environment. I would think eventually it would cause a divide between a couple.

You kids even can't stand your parents normal sex life!..stop imagining them in a swingers group! but anyway swinging it's like driving a fast car. if you can control it it's great,otherwise you lose everything!

1.Consensual cheating.2.My parents are coming up to their golden wedding anniversary,and have been TOGETHER throughout that time,having no need of any other outside relationships.May i also add that they have passed down their morals,principals and values to their children,and none of us has ever cheated either.

if mine were swinging i know theyd leave me alone more, even though im married they still aggravate me like im 15 or something. if that keeps ur s closer then hey its cool, theres alot of couple s doing it now, young, middle aged, older, and they use more protection then alot of people do.

I myself am against it & don't see how people like that but to each is own. However if it was my parents it would devastate me & I don't think I would respect them anymore.
