No, not offended. But I think it's more lady-like, and certainly more dignified, to just ignore them. As Jerry Seinfeld says, that's not really the most efficient way to get women. LOL.

Not particularly, unless they're really lewd. The women in Central America are flattered by them and the men do it to show their appreciation of some beautiful women who dress provocatively. That's just the culture.

Not from a distance. When the 8 illegals in the adjoining townhouse start catcalling you in your own front yard it's pretty offensive and scary though.

Well, a bit; they never speak up, and mostly just make "meow" sounds. I don't know why people let their cats use telephones, anyway.
