That question sounds familiar and it is a question my 4yr old son's friend asked as I was driving them to Sunday School. Before I had a chance to begin to answer my 4yr old son pronounced "only God knows that".That was a better answer than I could come up with at the time. Short sweet and to the point.

The obvious answer is that God always has been and always will be. God is eternal. God Is!! But that is only in the creation sense.
God orginates in us .....God comes from us in the sense that through us God's work is done on earth. God chose to be known through his servants
