What will happen if i recently had sex and wasnt' on birthcontrol but want to start it now??????? I'm very irregular and wouldn't even know it if i missed my period......

Wait until you have your period -- or don't -- so you can take a test. You can't start the pills until your period ends anyway. So, just hang on until it is period time -- then start the new pills. Since you are irregular -- just try to figure out 30 or so days from your last one and take a preg test then if you are concerned.

Any Dr. givin you BC should test you for pregnancy. you can go in today and start the process depending on what type od BC you choose you may need to wait till you have a period or you may be able to start right aways just depends on what kind you choose.

nothing will happen..... but like everyone else said , before you can start bc again you have to be tested and if you are negative then you can start after the last day of first period and if you are positve....well....then your having a baby!!!! GOOD LUCK

girl you need to go to a clinic if you can go to the health dept. It's cheap and you know is you are pgrgnant and they can hook you up about birth control right there and then.
