I do know the answer I have taken oil to israel but those that don't know may be surprised

you really think its cost effective to go from middle east to the US then back again.
Beside the US is stockpiling oil for itself in empty oilfields and a massive empty salt mine known in the industry as the loop

That is a very good question because many don't realize that ALL countries get oil from the main supplying countries.... including us as we gripe about Iran. The reason is that OPEC is in charge of distribution and it is kind of like trying to separate politics and business.
I call it hypocrisy.

I'd be more interested why religionists never ask why, if the Israeli people are the chosen people of God, did God lead them to a promised land that is the only place in The Middle East that doesn't have a drop of oil? You da thunk God wudda known it was there.

Same as the $2 billion a year in armaments presumably, the US, if there was any common sense in the world they would all be paid to move there.
