You and your friends do not have the same parents. Different parents make different decisions. I'm sure your friends' parents are stricter about some things. It's just the way it goes. But you should find out why your mom doesn't want you to wear hoops, because it doesn't make much sense to me. Good luck.

OK I just looked at your other questions to get an idea of how old you are because I've never understood the things with parents being strict about girls wearing earrings(everybody I grew up with had their ears pierced as babies and wore hoops at all ages as long as they weren't very big.) I think your mother needs to be more concerned with you being on the Internet unsupervised, but that's my opinion. Be careful, there are alot of nuts online. Watch Dateline NBC some Friday nights.

She's just worried about you looking too grown up too fast.

How does your Mom feel about other kinds of earrings -- or is it NO earrings, period?
If she's only down on hoops, there are tons of other styles which look very cool!
Why would you want to look like everybody else anyhow! Be a trend-setter not a slave to fashion!

If she's this sort of mom which will pay attention, you may desire to sit down down her down and consult together with her approximately it. tell her you experience like an outcast or some thing when you consider which you may not positioned on what all of the different women at school are wearing. yet I trust Ella approximately he heels, attempt the contacts first. hoop jewelry? no remark. whilst i became youthful it took consistently to speak my mom into letting me shave my legs, so i comprehend the type you experience. the reason she permit me is using the fact she asked my older 0.5 sister (her stepdaughter) her opinion on it and he or she advised her i became sufficiently old. So, according to probability attempt some thing like that...

wow your mum must be really strict.. well she can stop you from wearing them forever. i know this seems like bad advice but maybe you should talk to your mum and ask her what is so bad about wear hoop earrings. there is nothing wrong with them..unless your using them to get boys or sumting but im sure your not. maybe shes just being protective over you.

my mom did the same too me wen i was young. she avctually didnt let me pierce my ears till i was 12!! well if u want just put hem on in school or something os no one can see. and who cares if all your friends have it. if the only reason u want to wear it is because of your friends, then dont even bother sneaking around your mother to wear it. do it only if u r doin it for u.
