WHICH IS BETTER, HYDRAULIC OR WINDING DRUM residential elevators?

hydraulic.are by far the best ,they can only be used up to 6 or 7 floors but,they are a smoother ride and a lot less maintenance.

Hydraulic can lift more weight but costs more and is of course better

Depends how many floors you have. Price comes into play.

Ask around and compare. Good luck in your choice.

Winding Drum, we had a hydralic in our dorm and it was ALWAYS on the fritz.
