Try feeding the baby, make the baby full b4 hand so the baby is sleepy during the ride. Thats what I do for my 4mth old...she sleeps the whole ride thereafter.

Wow I hope she doesn't end up with a fear of the dark for a long period of time. I feel bad for her. If you have tried lights I don't know what else to try. Is she still rear facing? Maybe she hates not being able to see you. My daughter was the same way until I turned her forward. I tried everything too, nothing worked. Have you tried some kind of music like a portable small cd player in the side of her car seat something soft and soothing? It might help her relax. And make sure she knows where you are. Good luck and grats on the baby girl.

They do sell little car activity kits for kids in car seats. They have lighted mirrors you attach to the back of the front seat as well as other personal lights for infants/toddlers. Check Babies r us, Baby Depot, Buy Buy Baby as well as other places you can find online.
Good Luck :-)

Can you drive with the light on in the car? Does that help? I don't know what else you can do, she'll just have to get used to it I guess.

Buy a box of chem-lites (glow sticks) to keep in the car, and whenever she cries, snap one for her and hand it to her. When my kids were babies they loved those things.

Turn on the dome light if it doesn't interfere with your driving.
