Does anyone know how many watts is 1 unit of electricity and how much powergen charge per unit?

1 unit =1000watts.Ie a one bar fire. Powergen has differing charges depending whether capped or not and the first 200 units are dearer than subsequent units . mine is 11.960 pence then7.980 ( Powergen)

I think you are referring to what units the power company charges by which are KWH(KiloWatt Hours) = 10 100W light bulbs for 1 hour. Costs are all over the place when I was in OR it was about a nickel, on one of my bills here in CA it got as high as 30 cents.

Unit = (Number of kilowatts x number of hours used), I believe.

As for the second part... no idea.
