Try to run 4 days a week, and cross-train on an elliptical or stationary bike on the other 3 days. You should also add some basic weight-training.

Hey girl... look at my school, i wuz on the track team and it can be hard to figure out some fun activities to do during the off season. Well here are a few of the things i do to get ready for the season:
1)Run at least a half-mile everyday, for endurance
2)Stretch regularly
3)Find other people who are also active in the track and field lifestyle. Hanging with people who share your interests can help keep you on track!!
4) Every Friday, I would practice my events which were the 440-Relay, and the shotput. Its good to practice your events because then by the time the season starts, you will be extremely prepared!
5) Find a knowledgable adult to help you improve on weak areas!!
