Kind of makes you miss the Yankee fans posting answers back in July swearing that the Tigers would never make the World Series. But I know you are savoring every moment.

Not that you need a laugh, but the attached article will give you some insight on the psychology of all the doubters, especially those from New York, whom the Tigers will likely face in the World Series.

Well, unfortunately I didn't get to see the game, but I think I've said it b4 & I'll say it again, this Tigers team is going to the WS. No, im not a tigers fan nor am I hopping on the bandwagon either, but I had initially picked the tigers vs dodgers in the world series, but the dodgers got swept by the mets (OUCH) so now I say that the mets vs tigers, with the tigers winning in 5-6 games. Congrats to the true tiger fans that have followed them throughout their winning season & of course throughout their losing seasons!!!

Let's not forget.. Bonderman gets to pitch the potential clinching game against the team that traded him.. He has a personal matter to settle with them in addition.. nothing would be better than an 'in your face for trading me' than a win that sends Oakland back west..

Much Respect! MUCH MUCH MUCH!! respect. Because they didnt only beat the Yankees, they beat the dog poop out of them, left no doubt.. and i thought the Yankees would Dust Detroit in 4 games..and i only said 4 because i hate calling sweeps. MUCH RESPECT! And it looks like Theyl do the A's in in next game, and maybe face my Mets, if we get thru Cards, in WS. The Tigers worry me....they have that look the MArlins had the year they beat the Yankees in WS, or last year with the White sox, or the Yankees in 1998..its like the inevitability seems to be growing with them.. But WE CAN HIT, and we may be only team in majors that has a better pen that Detroit...so we shall see,

I am glad to see the perfect recipe finally come together for the Tigers. As a long standing fan of the Tigers I had to call my grandmother recently just to make sure she didn't have a heart attack after they won the last series. GO TIGERS!

Yeah, Kenny Rodgers did a great job tonight. I wasn't really happy with the Tiger's hitting but, when you have such great pitching it mores than compensates. Well done Tiger's....one more baby!

I won't be impressed with them until they win the World Series. Nobody remembers who finished second.

But I do give them a lot of credit for shutting down the Yankee lineup.

That's impressive. He reminds me of Mark Buerle in 2005 when he was pitching right. You see how the A's team is totally different when Frank Thomas is not hitting homeruns or base hits.
