I have oily, breakout prone skin. I prefer liquid foundation better than powder. Im between golden and bronze color. im hispanic and im trying to find the best liquid foundation to cover up my pimples and acne marks/scars. please help? Is it good to use foundations woth yellow undertones or what?

Whats the best black eyliner too. Im wondering if aqua eyeliner would look good on my golden-bronzed complexion. thanks for reading:)

Personally I like Almay's Clear Complexion makeup because it helps with breakouts and doesn't clog your pores. I would always just do a light dusting of translucent powder over top of the foundation and concealor to set it. I think green undertones in the concealor would work best to cover red, because those two colours are complimentary and nuetralize each other. I also like Physicians Formula products because the powders don't have talc in them, and thats what clogs your pores up and causes blemishes.

If you're looking into colour eyeliners, I would go with a dark colour, but it depends on your eye colour. As well for eye shadow, keep in mind your complimentary colours, because putting a pink on a green eye will enhance the eye and make it pop. Orange tints on blue eyes, purple on brown eyes. So if you have dark eyes, black or brown eyeliner is good, or maybe a dark eggplant colour.

I have some of the same problems, and I've found the L'oreal True Match foundation is great for coverage. Also, Clinique Superpowder Double Face makeup is AWESOME!! It covers up any scars or pimples you may have. Regarding the eyeliner, Almay Amazing Lasting eyeliner really does last. I usually go from 7am-12am and it wears very well.

To see what makeup tone looks best on your skin, check out the underside of your wrist. If you can see your veins, you need a cooler toned makeup. If it is more yellowish, choose foundation with a more yellow tone (usually a color with "beige" in the name). Hope this helps!

You can save a lot of $ by NOT going to Clinique or Bare Minerals! Try a FREE virtual mkeover at marykay.com. The website also lets you find a consultant in your area who will give you a FREE facial AND color makeover!!MK has several types of foundation and a great new Ultimate mascara which REALLY helps with short eyelashes-I know from personal experience!

I understand that you prefer liquid over power but please let me recommend to you Bare Minerals makeup.

I wore Estee Lauder FOREVER and almost refused to change but i tried Bare Minerals (or bare escentuals, whatever!) and I loved it!

I too, have oily prone to break out skin and this totally helped my complexion. At first when I started using it I didnt like it -because I felt it didnt give me enough coverage but once I became more comfortable with using the poweders I realized that I could cover Every blemish or imperfection on my face!!

So, if you have some free time -look up the website for Bare Minerals (Bare Escentuals) and maybe go somewhere and try it. YOu will love it im sure!!

As for eyeline, what color are your eyes?
White Eyeliner is great for the insides of your eyes (that corner part) and also on your bottom lid on the inside part to really make them pop
For Blue eyes- you could wear any shade of blue or Violet (some other shades of purple aswell)
For Brown eyes- one of my best high school girlfriends had brown eyes and she wore like a navy blue eyeliner which really made her eyes look fabulous
For Green eyes- Violets will make your eyes stand out too

hope I helped :)

You may prefer liquid foundation, but it isn't good for oily/acne prone skin (it actually makes it worse) Try Bare Minerals by ID Bare Escentuals, it is powder, but it is amazing at covering scars, acne and discoloration (My sister is a make up artist and she only uses this stuff) it is a little more expensive, but it is worth every penny. The starter kit comes with a DVD to show you how to apply it. Try it, it may change your life!

I can't give advice on the skin thing, fortunately I've never had to encounter that problem, however, girlfriend, if you take any advice at all... Don't use "Aqua" colored eye liner OR Mascara...
That's not retro, that's a 70's through back.. so honey, throw it out!!

If you go to the clinique counter at any store like macy's, boscov's, bon-ton etc. (not too sure where you live) they will be a big help to you!
