Actually it is possible since there is a good quantity of researches that confirm that some forms of depression can be improved with absorption of DHA and EPA which are both found in fish oil.

I remember reading a study, a while ago. Fish oil was said not to do anything useful. The study also claimed that the companies who sold fish oil made several billion from it a year.

Apparently there may be a connection between vitamin D and depression.

There are higher incidents of depression in higher altitudes which have less sunlight, and therefore there is less opportunity for the body to manufacture vitamin D from sunlight.

So, if you live in a northern climate, a winter vacation to new mexico or hawaii or florida might be in order . . .

or fish oil if you are on a budget.

Fish oil has high concentrates of Omega 3 in it, supposedly as a dietary supplement may reduce the risk of coronary artery disease! Try to take one day at a time and stop to smell the roses may improve your mood! Peace!

Well, fish can cure head-ach's, so I dont see why fish oil cant cure depression. Afterall, depression is all in your head.

No. But if your pet has dry skin, put fish oil in with their food. Their skin will get better.

Not sure but there is alot to be said about herbal and holistic remedies. Go out and research you will be surprised at what you will find.

it's possible that it could help. essential fatty acids help keep the brain receptors and synapses smooth and well rounded just as anti-depressants do...but i prefer flax seed oil...no terrible taste when burped.

It controls asthma symptoms, give it a try it wont hurt.
