yes...I couldn't see paying $39 to have a phone at home when I can just take mine with me...and the telemarketers can't get this phone number...

No. I also have a land line, which accepts faxes too since I am on a "business plan". I would have a land line even if I didn't work at home because I talk a lot on the phone and need a second phone to continue my conversation after my cell's run out of battery. ;)

We have a land line and two cell phones. We live in Florida and when bad storms come through the land line is at times the only one that works.

Nope. Our house has 2 land line phones 1 for fax, 1 for voice. Each person with his/her own cellphone.

Yes. Since I am a manager for Cingular my service is unlimited and I have free service for my husband is well. It was pointless to have a landline since no one ever called so we discontinued it.

no, I have VoiP for my home, and a SIP for cheaper calls to Europe, and 3 cellphones, which 2 are pre-paid sims...
