It's not what people say that makes others hit the "report abuse" button, but how they say it, usually. "Insulting other participants" is about the only reason I'll do it. If you can't make your point without resorting to 3rd grade behavior, you've already lost your argument.

I don't know. I've only been reported for abuse once and I actually did say something pretty offensive.

I don't know why anyone does it, except it must give them some sort of sick power trip.

I understand why people report the really offensive things, but some people get carried away with it.

There could be no courtroom and no police station in our real life... Agree or Disagree ??? probable, There could be checklist Abuse... however the comments could be checked earlier taking strikes...!

You usually get reported when you say something offensive, which in your case is all the time.
