Does anyone know a site that will translate words into medical terms..... i have looked EVERYWHERE!! I just need to know what the medical term is for "away from her body" ......please help!

abduction as in to move the arm or other part away from the body.
Toward the body is adduction

Hi there.

I don't believe there is an actual term for that..
but I will keep looking for you.

You might want to try and get hold of a reverse MEDICAL dictionary. I tried a regular reverse dictionary but that was no good.

I can only find medical BOOKS but there might one online somewhere.
I think they sometimes go by the name reversicon.
Here are the names of 3 books I found. Maybe a library might have them.

PS- If it's really important to know you might consider stopping by/phoning a local hospital or medical place and seeing if someone can help you. Going in would be better than phoning up and you could look for somebody who doesn't look busy. You could say it's for a school/college paper or something like that. Maybe it is? lol

Used to designate a position on the dental arch farther from the median line of the jaw.
