ask himvery specific questions and do not let him get away with cliche-ish and/or meaningless answers. pin him down to specifics.
liberals cannot win arguements mch less a simple discussion or debate. they always resort to name-calling and him-and-hawing.
they always hang themselves if you give them enough rope.

Okay, so no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq...but when most people think of WMDs they think of bombs. WMD's can just as easily be biochemical warfare, which can be grown in transportable labs in the back of trucks. Iraq has been guilty of this before and it perfectly reasonable to assume that any disgruntled country may be back up to their old tricks. Biochemical warfare can kill far more people that a nuclear bomb and much, much easier to hide. It's erring on the side of caution to check. Better safe than sorry.
Another fun one would be to mention the high number of homosexual men that are liberals and then look at him pointedly waiting for his response. lol
Of course, I am neither Democrat nor Republican so I can make that call. :)

Don't try to put him down, join him! You'll be ahead of your time! Because you'll find in life that reasonable, intelligent people grow more liberal the longer they live and the more of life they experience.
