Yes they are chosen but so are you and I so God doesn't play favourites, He may have called the Jews chosen to do something special and He did choose them to be the people who His son Jesus was born to be a part of in history. As a carpenters son He chose that too so that as Jesus grew up He realized the plights of all peoples. Chosen yes favoured no, we are all chosen to do something to gain our rightful place in Heaven.

I don't believe the Jews refer to themselves as "the chosen peeps". (Show a little respect)
They believe they have been chosen to be special by God. Its in the old testament, if you have a copy lying around the house.

The Old Testament in the Bible says the Hebrews are the chosen people.
Take a minute and read some of it....even if you don't believe it's interesting.

They are not the chosen people any more since they have changed alot since the time before Christ. Now Christians his followers are the chosen people. YOU might be a chosen one but you don't know it because you haven't converted into Christianity.
