Honestly speaking, India has a very slim chance. The teams which are playing great are: West Indies, Australia and Sri Lanka. Any of the three can come out victorious.

India could be among the strongest contender for the Champions Trophy but at this very moment, each and every team participating are at their level best. This might be happening for the first time in the History of ICC that a tournament is unpredictable and all the teams participating in the tournament are at their level best. If we look at Australia, South Africa and Pakistan team, they look to be the toughest challenge to India and we should not also under-estimate West Indies who would love to retain the Trophy, but as far as its India's home ground, we have an upper hand regardless we miss this opportunity. Predicting the Champion might not be possible before the Semis but still, I think it should be South Africa, Pakistan, India and Australia battling out for the trophy. Many might not agree with me but, India and Pakistan are the favourites to win it.

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on many occasions in the past, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advnce. It is depends upon the performance of the players, however great they are,
on the day of the match.
While Australia, in the present form, are hot fvourites to win the tournament, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England and even New Zeland are capable of causing upsets and win the tournament.
I strongly feel that India have a good chance to win the tournament as they are having home advantage if Indian players play to their potential consistently with fighting spirit.

Its a gud question and aswell a triky one..
Well if india keep on the momentam going hey would certainly carry the trophy.
But i certainly think that AUSTRALIA will win it as they have more experience, and also a very well united team>>
There are 3 main top teams to consider:-
1) Australia
2) Pakistan
3) India
On of these top teams could carry the cup, so who Knows!!
LETS WAIT AND WATCH>>>

Good question. I think it will be close, I think there are only 3 teams in it. India, Australia and Pakistan. Though Sri Lanka will be a chance. My money is on Australia to win for the first time.
