when our founding fathers were writing our constitution they wanted it to be where the "politicians, government" feared the people , but over time the politicians have turned the tables on the people by passing laws, rules and regulations that protect them selves, and the people have stood by and have not listened to the ones who have tried to prevent this and have not offered any support, so these instruments are passed without any resistance, instead every one will say this person is a idiot or ?? without reading or listing to what is being said, plus so many of our people believe every thing our so called leaders say, when they are leading us to slaughter,for example, one senator wanted a law passed that the congressman or senator, had to read and under stand a bill before they voted on it, it was turned down and was never voted on ,WHY ? was it because they couldn't get paid for their vote if they understood it? or it took to much of their time? that we pay dearly for? to answer your question, yes the politician and gov, should fear the people, but when the people don't care , Then why should they worry??

Why should they? What are the people going to do? If we vote a politician out of office, all that happens is that he/she gets replaced with another politician with a similar if not identical agenda. And since we only have two political parties with power, which only disagree with each other out of tradition instead of any real difference in ideology, nothing is going to change until the majority of the American people pull their heads out of their collective arses, quit thinking that everything the president says must be right, quit listening to religious groups who reject science and fact in favor of something with no supporting evedence whatsoever, and START THINKING FOR THEMSELVES. Then, modern politicians should fear the people, and with good reason.

Yes! Liars and cheats should always fear that they will have to pay
for there crimes. The sell out of are country because of the money
men bribing our officials is treason. The corporate leaders funding
these men through donations and jobs after publice service that
pay twenty times what they made before for no work is what has
caused the distruction of the peoples country. This is now a country
owned lock, stock and barrel.
