That is the irony of the Democratic party. They want homosexuals, women, Blacks (African-American for you PC junkies), and an assortment of groups to be treated as equals but they continue to reference each as a group and not an individual. The "Black vote", "gay vote", "soccer moms" (for examples)...they support and represent you- but only if you're Democrat? Heaven forbid a homosexual, woman, Black, etc be a Republican...or maybe not even heaven forbid since most appear to be atheist, non-denomination, or religion-lite and would be offended by that remark.

... I would hope that no gays leave either party because of this scandal.. this was one man.. one problem. It does not paint all of them with the same brush, or shouldn't. We do not throw out every congressman or woman because one lied.. hell we would not have any then would we. this is not different. Only if they commit the same error should any of them resign.
