simple: STOP RE-ELECTING THEM !!!!!!!

Good question.. but the best way is to vote them out.. another is to just stay on their backs.. when they come out and make these grandiose statement and promises.. well... right after they are elected and forever more.. just keep at them to make sure they make them happen. They shouldn't promise if they can't deliver. Write, phone, email and march if need be. Get yourself on TV, anything. If each and everyone of us started making our politicians actually do what we elected them for.. we might just have a good country again. Right now, we need a good house cleaning.. too many dishonest , lying people in there.. and too many rich.. need to clean up the system so that a few plain good people an run.

We are doing something, those caught doing something illegal are being put jail, others can be and should be voted out. That is what it is all about here. We have a right to choose who we think is best or fits our judgment of how we want them to represent us. If they are not doing it we have a right to vote against them in the next election. It is a far better way then taking up arms and changing the government.

By only voting for politicians who have a clean record of Americanism, Patriotism, law enforcement and adherence to the founding Principles of the Declaration of Independence.
If that continues to fail, The People may have to clean house to return this nation to its founding principles.

Make it unlawful to accept special interest money (for election campaigns). Also eliminate no-bid contracts, and investigate relationships between contractors and politicians. That would be a start.

Fire every politician in the country and start from scratch, and this time we have to cut the paychecks in half. They get paid too much to start off with, get greedy and want more. I also have to add, voting doesn't work anymore because all the choices stink.

You are so right!! I don't know - there's got to be a way.
I guess when the middle class gets sick enough of bs,
they'll protest & revolt.

"More and more"? Please give me an exact count of how many were doing so "before" and then an exact count of how many are doing so "now."
More and more ordinary folk are demonstrating that they have a knack for saying things llike this in a pointlessly sweeping way.

That would be up to US. WE have to start monitoring these people. Instead, we will support anyone as long as they give us the speeches they want to us to hear.

They have their own agendas and it's frustrating to know they really don't care about us a a people.
