You can get it court order would be the best way.. If he does a no show. you can keep record of the events and since its order by the court he would want to follow those guideline.

Or you can come up with an agreement seek an Attorney drawn the agreement up and have it Notarized.

The Only way to get it supervised that would have to be prov-en in court by an Mediator feeling the child is in some sort of stress or the parent is a flight risk.

Everyone here has some very good advice! I've been on just about every side of situations like this. I've been through a horrific custody battle, I'm a paralegal for a family law firm and I volunteer for my county's Court Ordered Supervised Visitation and Monitor Transfer Program. As I cannot give you direct advice, I would recommend you search for a reputable family law attorney, and possibly even google the term "supervised visitation + __________" the blank being your city and state. I know the attorneys I work for are wonderful people that will answer some questions and tell you give you options on what you can do.

Remember -- each state follows its own Rules and has its own Laws. So DO NOT believe just anyone on the Internet, ask a lawyer in your county!

Without a court order you cant. If your ex agrees to supervised visits then you need it in writing and signed by a judge. If you have never been before a judge on visitation and custody issues then you dont have to give visits at all. I am guessing the ex did something horrible like beat your child? Molest your child? Otherwise if he/she hasnt hurt y our child odds of getting a judge to agree to supervised visits are pretty slim.
Either way, talk to a lawyer and see what can be done. Without a court order you arent obligated to provide any visits, but that can be used against you if your ex takes you to court. You will need a solid case if you plan to ask for supervised visits.

The court order states what the ex has to do to have a visitation.

It is HIS responsibility to find a source for the SUPERVISED Visitations, to PAY for the Supervision for his Visitation, and to INFORM you with sufficient lead time about the Site and place of the Visitation.

It is NOT your responsibility to do that.

Petition the divorce courts for a remodification for child visitation hearing. Its one of two areas of your divorce decree that you can do so, child support is the other. Explain your situation to the judge and why you request such visits and hope for the best. Your ex will be there so you might get some static from her if she contests your petition. Good luck

If he has done nothing to you or you two's child, then he should be able to see him/her every day if he wants to.
