This is really strange if you did not create your own file. (Something that Yahoo allows you to do). You should have "inbox", "sent", "bulk" and "trash", plus any other folders you set up yourself.

If you remove the box that says, "search shortcuts", I am quite positive that you will also loose everything that is in that file. Plus you can only move emails from the listed files above to another existing file.

For sure I can tell you that Yahoo does not create files for you other then the ones that you named. You can only create additional file folders on your own.

You don't say what version of Internet Explorer that you have. The lastest is IE 7 second stage of beta.

Not wanting you to loose all your photos and attachments, the only suggestion that I can come up with is for you to purchase a box of 3-1/2 floppy disk. Copy all your photos and attachments to the floppy disks. Then delete this entire folder/file if it will allow you. (Being that you say, "you did not create", and for sure Yahoo did not create this strange folder for you.

After you save all your photos to floppy, you can install them in your documents under photos or any place you desire.

Being that this is a very strange situation, you may want to update to the latest IE7.

Sincerely hope the above suggestions help you. Wish I could think of a better answer for you. Computers do very strange things, and sometimes there is no real answer or solution.

I think it is something new with yahoo! I have it also and did not create it but yahoo has made some changes in the past few weeks. You could try right clicking and see if there is an option to delete! Peace!
