It only costs me $10 to get it, but is it worth it? Does it really help?

It is not superstition. I have had the flu shot some years and other years I have passed on it. I built up immunity
to the flu years ago. I don't get sick but then I don't take
risks. I just increase my vitamins during the flu season
and I eat healthier to stay healthy. Getting the flu shot won't hurt your chances and if you should get sick you will
have a milder strain of the flu. Get the shot if only for your
peace of mind.

I got the Flu shot last year and the years before that and I still got the Flu... Actually I was sick for 3 weeks with it and I had it twice. I got over it and then got it back again.. This year I'm not going to even both with it because it is just a waste. If I am going to get sick there ain't nothing that I can do about it.

Since I am a type 2 diabetic, I always get the flu shot. Since it is killed virus, you cannot get sick from it. Arm gets a little sore. But I believe it is worth the money and soreness to not have the flu and be in bed for a week. Good luck!

I have ulcerative colitis and I get the flu shot every year. It's well worth the 10 bucks. I don't know what superstition would have to do with it though, hon.

you NEED to have it when:
you yourself or anyone around is of unstable immunity
you are often in contact with sick or elder people
you are often amongst lots of people, who could give the virus to you or whom you could give it to if you have it
