Can young men with mental illnesses join the Freemasons? What about if they attempted suicide when they were teenagers? Does that go against the 'unsullied reputation' requirement, or is the Masons more lenient with that kind of thing?

I don't want to join. I'm just curious.
And to the other poster...no, actually, it's quite the opposite. In order to become a Freemason, the person who's interested has to go to THEM.
