I am just about 21 weeks along in my first pregnancy and never been more afraid about everything! Especially because my friend might possibly loose her baby due to a bacterial infection in the amniotic fluid (she is 32 weeks along). She was leaking fluid but thought it was urine, good thing she had it checked. Now all I can think about is, am I leaking, Is something wrong? I worry way to much! Anyway, back to my question. I believe that I can now feel the baby kick and can even feel it with my hand. I am thin and can feel this movement when I'm streched out on the couch. Is it possible that I can feel the baby kick with my hand this ealry? Or am I crazy?

I am 22 weeks along. Even after two healthy pregnancies I still worry and you will never stop. It's normal. Yes it is possible for someone else to feel the baby move. It usually starts sometime after the 20th week. My baby is kicking like crazy except when my husband tries to feel it then he stops he's got a sense of humor I swear. Good luck and try not to worry too much.

I heard that you can feel the baby kick as early as 18 weeks or something like that. 20 weeks is considered average to start feeling movement. If you are very thin then you would feel it earlier.

Yes, this is your baby. He/she is still very tiny, but you are feeling movement. And others will feel this movement too, but some will be skeptical. Others don't understand how small the baby is, they expect these huge hard kicks..
you are not crazy, :)

Congrats on the baby, and good luck with this!

Not crazy...I could feel it the day I found out (20 weeks...long story). My husband could feel it a week or two later, so, it's not completely out of the question.
Be forewarned: My baby was a kicker, and she hasn't stopped even 3.5 months after birth. LOL.

It is very possible at that stage... it won't really feel like much (compared to when you are 30+ weeks... trust me, then you can feel "oh thats a knee... thats a foot..." but you should be able to feel little bumps from the outside.
