Yes, people do experience death when they die.
People who have been "dead" until resuscitated, often report to the medics that they floated to the ceiling, but were looking down at their body being worked on by the staff. They tell us of a passageway leading to a beautiful light and of seeing Loved Ones who have gone on before. Some recollect conversations about it not being their time yet, etc.
Death is just the act of the Soul leaving a body behind and passing into the next room. We just live on in a different form.
Have the cynics on here never heard of psychic mediums?

Only a dead person could tell you if they actually felt the "dieing" part of the death experience. but because they are dead and can't come back to tell us living folk we will not know for sure until it happens to us. But I think no because from what I was told most people experience an unconscious state just before their body dies. so I don't think they even know it at the point of death.

Some do, some don't.

'NDE's' (Near death Experiences) as researched by (a few) doctors amongst children show remarkable similar experiences as described by children.

Some report and describe remarkably accurate accounts of the room they were in, who was in the room and what happened (and without any fears of it), the procedures gone through and technical terms, whilst they were either unconscious or in a coma, and whilst not being in a position to 'see / observe anything' they were able to describe (including the 'time of events').

The Jury is still out on this ...the evidence is beyond circumstantial and weighs very heavily in favour of........

NO. they cant do that, becuse death is the end of everything, you cant see life in Autumn leave, when the soul leave the body, nothing can be explained, there nothing can be explain with. We usually express our experience with body, when its die, it look like dry soil, wait to be sand. its finish in that moment. The spirit or the soul take everything and leave the ground, its like a bird without wings, will not tell how it feel, because its desission to leave its body, the only thind who can tell what it is feel.

I think you actually lose consciousness before you actually die. So i don't think people actually can experience death. They may feel that they are slipping away! I not entirely sure! Interesting question though.

I think we all will experience death, and know it at the time.

It scares me, but I take comfort in two things.

1, billions of ppl have already been there.

2, it wont last for ever.

Oh, and 3, If you wake up screaming, no one will here you.

Good night.

I don't really care what we feel or experience, the thought of dying keeps me awake for hours on end. I just hope it happens suddenly or in my sleep, however if I'm going down in a plane ill leave a few notes for you to read after the event.... by the way they WILL be written in shite !!!!!!!

It seems that no one really likes to talk about their death experience, I'm not sure why... Well you have a question that all of us will answer eventually, pretty scary huh?
