There really isnt a reason to make a FFx-3 if you complete the game with 100% completion youll see why. It bascially ties up all the loose ends.

No trilogy is set for the FF10 series; Final Fantasy 12 is getting a DS sequel, but currently the only games with sequels are 7, 10, and Tactics (both Tactics Advance and 12 are set in the same game world, and can be considered sequels...so it will have a whopping 4 sequels at this point.)

The final fantasy series wasn't supposed to have sequels to begin with. But seeing that the end of 10 left a lot of people upset they made X-2 to tie up all the loose ends.

I highly doubt they would cause from I have heard from friends and on forums is that it wasn't that good and I don't think it sold as well as others cause alot of people didn't like ten in the first place. If you want to hear more on stories you might want to look up some fan fic cause I am sure some fan will write an interesting story on it.

No, it was just a rumor and the staff at Square-Enix once joked about making a third for Rikku, but it was a joke.

I doubt it; X-2 explained pretty everything in the storyline. Making another seems unnecessary.
